Sure Languages were interested in pro-actively approaching companies with an international focus so they could offer their translation and interpretation services. It’s a crowded market and the challenge was to design a campaign which would make Sure Languages stand out from the crowd AND position them as a global player with a personal approach.
We chose to run a direct mail campaign supported by social media and PR, because there are more opportunities to make an impact with a mailing piece. Not only that, but the recollection rate and conversion rates for direct mail are significantly higher than for e-marketing. We worked with a local chocolatier, Chocciebar, to create a hand made chocolate heart which we sent with a leaflet about Sure Languages to 60 targeted potential businesses. A week later, we followed up the mailer with a telephone call. The recollection rate was nearly 100%, we received 2 requests for quotes and 20 businesses agreed to include Sure Languages in the next pricing request for translations.
